I apologize to the Basic EMTs for this, but it's an interesting

cardiology question for those who do 12-leads.

Your patient is a middle aged man with chest pain that started 1 hour

ago.

Your initial 12-lead shows the following:

ST elevation > 1 mm in aVR, aVL, and V1.

What is the significance of these findings, and what are the

implications for both patient and paramedic?
