Guest guest
I would try lowering cortisol FIRST. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ Val or Nick, I think I've gone hyper, something is going on for sure. My rt3 ratio was 16.7. On T3 for 4 weeks now and have raised due to fatigue and other hypo symptoms. Been sort of bumpy, feel good one day, tired the next, etc. June 17 I raised T3 to 25, 25, 25, 18.25 because I was continually exhausted and staying in bed. Unable to function. My temps have been holding steady but last couple days they're acting up. On the 17th my avg. temp was at 98.4 and was tired, drowsy with headache all day...thus the T3 raise. On the 18th my avg. temp was at 98.3 and was tired and drowsy all day. On the 19th my avg. temp jumped to 98.8, felt fine all day, did some laundry, bit of housework. On the 20th my ave. temp dumped to 97.9 was a bit tired and didn't do much for Fathers day besides go out for dinner. Today the 21st, avg temp today is 98.7 I just haven't felt right all day. Have taken first 3 doses but not last dose for day. Been sort of shakey but decent energy and not tired. Heart beating hard (this is new) and I took 3 blood pressure readings today and they are higher than normal for me. 140/90 - pulse 97, 152/86 - pulse 97, 143/85 - pulse 92 Am I getting to the hyper end of things? Should I skip todays last dose? Should I go back to 25, 18.25, 25, 18.25 tomorrow? I'm taking 30 mg HC and until last couple of days temps were holding pretty steady, I don't want to jack up my adrenals now. What should I do??? Guest guest
Alright, makes sense since you put it that way. This can all be so confusing when looking out from my side of the window;-) So how much should I cut out and what dose time? I already took my 10 mg. at 9:00 this morning. My other doses are usually 10 at noon, 7.5 at 3pm and 2.5 at 6pm.Thanks again Val,Kem<<Posted by: " T" artisticgroomer@... valharlyTue Jun 22, 2010 3:43 am (PDT)Because over all your symptoms point MORE to high cortils than to high thyroid. Guest guest
Val I dosed down HC 2.5 mg today and did feel better. BP was a little better 144/85 with BP 86, 132/70 with BP 80, 145/87 with BP 78. It took a while for temps to come up today but avg was 98.3 which was .4 difference from yesterday. With my temps being so stable for so long this is unusual but I'll keep an eye on it for the next few days and continue taking 93.75 mcg. of T3 as usual and keep on lower dose of 27.5 mg. HC. I did have energy today but it wasn't that hyper icky feeling and took it easy so didn't overdo myself.<<Posted by: " T" artisticgroomer@... valharlyTue Jun 22, 2010 3:43 am (PDT)Because over all your symptoms point MORE to high cortils than to high thyroid.
