If you are worried about hyperthyroid, I would pay attention to heart rate (at rest or asleep). I am cycling doses of T3 and I have found heart rate is very informative as to when the T3 is stressing my body. ===>Assuming you are talking about pulse rates, we took them before, timing the pulse for 6 seconds and then multiplying by 10, right? Can you remind me what the normal pulse rate is? I agree much better than temps. We are doing a blood draw next week, but would like to see what her pulse rate is. Can you remind me what the normal pulse rate is? I agree much better than temps. We are doing a blood draw next week, but would like to see what her pulse rate is. I don't know what normal is for kids. With a quick search I find ranges like 70-110 and 80-100 for her age. She will have her own normal range of variation, which you can learn by taking it on a regular basis. If you see a one-time measurement at the high end of the range, I'm not sure that would be a concern. Persistently high, then I would check it out. I actually take a 60 second pulse once per day and 10 second pulses at other times. 6 seconds may be fine for your purposes. -- > Thanks, > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
