Guest guest
Some restaurants that offer gfcf items are: Jamba Juice - Federal Hwy., Ft. Laud Pizza Fusion - 1013 Federal Hwy., Ft. Laud. The Melting Pot Pei Wei Outback - S. E. 10th Ave, Ft. Laud. Duffy's Sports Grill, Cordova Rd. Publix, Whole Foods, and Target sell GFCF items in their grocery aisles. Some Publix stores such as the one in Deerfiel on Military Trl. have an alternative foods aisle (10) with a few additional items. A fairly good cookie recipe is below. I hope this helps. Glenda Mix time: under 30 min Cook Time: Under 30 min Yield: Makes about 12-15 vegan oatmeal raisin cookies modified recipe from: http://chefinyou.com/2009/09/oatmeal-raisin-cookies-recipe/ Ingredients * 2/3 cup raisins * 1-2/3 cups shelled walnuts - OPTIONAL (can substitute - salted soy beans, choco or yogurt chips, or GF cereal pieces - i.e corn Chex) * 1 cup rolled oats (or use gluten free Oats to make this recipe) * 1-1/3 cups brown rice flour (or use whole wheat pastry flour) * 1-1/2 tsp ground cinnamon * 1/2 tsp fine sea salt * 6 tbsp canola oil (or use melted butter or corn oil) * 1/2 cup pure maple syrup * 1/3 cup brown rice syrup * 2 tsp pure vanilla extract Preheat Oven to 350F. Soak the raisins in 2 cups warm water for 10-15minutes. Spread the walnuts and oats on an ungreased baking sheet and toast them in the oven for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. In a food processor, combine half of toasted walnuts (we used salted soy beans) and oats and grind into a fine meal. You can alternatively grind all them too into fine flour. Add the remaining walnuts and oats, flour, cinnamon and salt. Pulse a few times to combine. In a bowl, whisk oil, maple syrup, brown rice syrup and vanilla. Add the dry ingredients and stir to combine. Then drain the raisins and stir them in. Drop tablespoons of the mixture into greased baking sheets (or lined with parchment paper ) about 2 inches apart. Can be lightly flattened with spoon back. Bake them in 350 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Let cool and store in air-tight container. > > Hi all , hope everybody is doing well. Recently we found that is allergic to wheat, milk, egg whites, peanut, and soybean. I'm very new at the gfcf diet , we never implemented because was such a picky eater. But now we have no choice. > Any suggestion I really appreciate. Must of all I need is places where you can buy food gfcf ( groceries), ideas for recipes, and see if anyone knows restaurants that can give you variety of gfcf entrees. > Thank you in advance for your help. > > Sent from my iPhone >
