Not so much because it isn't very accurate (solo paramedic on the helicopter telling the pilot it is " his " chopper), but because the story line just sucks. Most EMS shows end up being to corny, but even if they could pull off a Rescue Me version of EMS it would still catch a lot of flack and end up getting yanked because someone would complain to much.
