Guest guest
: " I wonder if the ones with rose hips have ascorbic acid? " Yes, they all contained ascorbic acid, even though one was buffered with calcium carbonate. I did test weak to several ascorbic acid supplements, which did not contain rose hips. Rose hips are also very beneficial for my blood type- type A. Very interesting! Two of the 4 I tested strong to are time-released. Does time-released vit. C have the problems that Andy talks about with time-released niacin? Thanks, Olif

C have the problems that Andy talks about with time-released niacin? Vitamin C is not hard on the liver. And note, any niacin is hard on the liver, not just timed-release version). There is a problem with timed-release vit C, though. Generally timed-release just means something is added to slow the breakdown of the product as it moves through the gut, but it won't be equally absorbed throughout the gut, so you don't get the benefit of the full dose. Choose one of the non-timed-release versions if you want to be cost-effective. -- > Thanks, > Olif > > >
