ABOUT THE WEBINAR:

This webinar is intended to provide information, materials, and resources concerning the rights, laws, and some choices related to disclosure in the world of work including example situations a job seeker or employee might disclose on the job. The presenter will provide strategies for job seekers and employees to consider before disclosing, how to disclose effectively, and the advantages/disadvantages of disclosing.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER:

Fitzpatrick is an Employment Specialist for the Learning Academy at USF providing support to job seekers with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and also serves as a consultant at the USF Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD) where she provides technical assistance and supports to young adults diagnosed on the autism spectrum, their families, and other circle of supports. As the instructor at the post-secondary education program at the USF Learning Academy, Ms. Fitzpatrick provides supports to students and their families to transition from youth services to focus on career building strategies and adult community life. Ms. Fitzpatrick received her Master of Social Work degree at the University of South Florida.
