kids always make you laugh - they don't see the cane or the crutch - they give you a shy smile or a tiny wave when they look at you - how can you not respond

one little girl last week had a wispy bow - the kind like 3" icicles all together - she was wearing it like a hat - I told her she looked beautiful - fascinators were all the rage and she way right in style

much better than the hats Fergies daughters wore to the wedding - the one looked like it was right out of the Mists of Avalon or Merlin God, grant me the strength of eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on his spirit to carry me there.

I went to dollar tree yesterday - Mom had an 8 year old who discovered flip flops - not rubber ones - the mat ones

the ones she picked were too big - I was amused watching her - she told her Mom in the other aisle they were too big - then I saw it - purple straps and purple flowers - just what any tween would want - I picked them up and handed then to Mom - just what any little girl would want

for an Okie to get flip flops in summer is a special day - wearing shoes is for public display

feet were invented before shoes

just a minute or two and it made my day God, grant me the strength of eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on his spirit to carry me there.

My daughter-in-law dropped me off at Walmart at 8 a.m. with three granddaughters ages 8, 13, and 15. We were there for 4 hours while dil was at work (this is her half day). The kids had a ball and I enjoyed it too. We looked at every toy in the toy department, all the make-up, jewelry and cds. lol After dil picked us up we went to lunch at Taco Bell, shopping at a thrift store, to Dollar Tree and then two grocery stores. I am exhausted tonight. It was nice getting out--for all of us.hugs

Yes, the hats Fergie's girls wore were weird, to say the least. lolI always have little friends talk to me in the stores. The little ones sometimes want to hold my hand. I try to get out of it though because they are such germy little creatures. Teenagers often talk to me at the stores too. I don't know why-- but it happens. The last time I was at the grocery store a young girl who works there (never saw her before) stopped to talk to me. She spilled her guts. Told me she was upset because the day before she went home at lunch and discovered her boyfriend fooling around with another girl. I guess I look like Dr. Phil:)hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. until last fall my heart sister was reading specialist at my old elementary school - I dressed to the nines for the holidays - the kids loved it - once the male teacher from next door was on the class computer - he couldn't hold the chuckles - I sailed in - laided everything out on 's desk and went out

I figured the stuck up teachers and the principal could stuff it God, grant me the strength of eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on his spirit to carry me there.

omg, sharon you are a hoot! germy little creatures indeed! when I work the pregnancy care center I feel like I need to be hosed off when I get home. Many ladys are simply flat-lined and despondent and it shows in the handling and maintenance of them and their kids. I am glad we can help keep them propped up but know they leave and go back out to a life that is so difficult. I've had kids in there that were literally making a pool of snot on the floor below them, and a probably 4 yr old that reeked of urine so badly and wanted to play at my reception desk. I absolutely love the little ones that come in that are clean! I actually wipe the entire desk area, handles and chair and computer stuff too down with disinfectant before the day starts...just ewww. I love my kids but am not a "kid person"

per say. My mom babysat little ones until her mid 50's so you'd think I'd be able to do it...nope. One year and found it to be such a bother and ugh that I started a pet sitting practice instead to make some income, and went back to school. so funny.Dee
