Guest guest
Leanne I haven't had direct experience with it but have known several people to use it. It's advantage over the others is that it has 3 lpm continuous to go with the 6 lpm pulse, so it can serve a wider range of patients and can be used for sleep. It also lives up to what it purports as it is capable of nearly three times as much oxygen production per minute than any of the others. Personally, it's the only portable that I would try to get if I was going to use a portable. Now the disadvantage is size and weight. It weighs 18 pounds with one power cartridge so it pretty much dictates using a rolling cart. It is also noisy as it's 40 db on pulse and 48 on continuous. It has decent battery range but still most people would want to have three batteries. The range at 2 lpm on continuous is 2 hours and on 2 lpm pulse is 5.2 hours. At 6 lpm pulse it gets 3.5 hours. Charging batteries is slow and can take up to 5 hours so you need the desktop charger so overnight you can charge everything up. It also does have a humidifier available. It operates on electric or car or its battery. I think its the current best available and look forward to the time they'll have one equal to it at half the weight. That's why you see so many Inogen's sold because they weigh only 10 pounds. I've known 4 or so people to use them and the only complaints I've heard are weight and time to charge a battery. One person made the mistake of trying to take an air trip with only one battery. This is a good unit I think for flying. As long as you fit in the range of oxygen flow it provides it does what you need. > > Hello all, > > I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this portable > oxygen concentrator????
