Ora,

I think you may be on to something even if other issues that

could factor in to a short leg for some such as scoliosis. A

friend of mine has issues with scoliosis and it causing her one

leg to be shorter. Hers is on the left side, mine is the right

side. But any way, she had to have a lift to help too.

I tried to get an MRI report to the podiatrist from the MRI I

had in Jan so that he could see it so I could ask some

additional questions, but he did confirm what I read in that one

article in one of the links I posted to the list (had read the

article before posting the link) that a short leg can cause pain

in such a way that makes it feel like an actual female problem

(such as with endometriosis-that's the example I'm using here

because that was the one I gave as an example when asking about

this in addition to the pubic pain I've had for nearly 2 years)

is the one creating the problem when it may not be.

As I mentioned to Chelle in another post he said I need to wear

orthotics but I'm having issues with the arch part of it right

now because it bothers my foot a lot. We'll see over the next

few weeks. But the thing that was interesting was what you said

about the shoe that is properly aligned. This is then where the

orthotics come in to place.

May I ask how old your son is? I promise I have a reason for

asking and will explain later why. With his built up shoe does

he have orthotics that include a lift? If not how did they

build up his shoe?

Kristy :)

They built up his shoe by widening the sole a few inches. No orthotics.
