Guest guest
Thought to pass this along to those of you with rather intractable fatigue problems. I've had a lot of trouble budging mine very far, even with HC and thyroid meds. A friend who struggled with Chronic fatigue and Lyme suggested this to me, as it helped her very much. NADH. I'd never heard of it, but I ordered some, and I've now had 2 days worth of rather startling progress at 10 mg in the morning, with only water, half hour before food. It seems to be helping everything else I'm taking to work better. This is great for me as several things have helped me a little, but nothing very much in the energy department. I've been in the bonafide CFS category for about 5 months. Only two days out on this, but the best improvement I've seen yet. I feel stronger, recover better from those inevitable low-cortisol moments, etc, and don't fall as far. Mentally less fogged too. Haven't tried it on round yet. Has anyone else had experience with NADH, or know anything about its activity? Any idea why it would help a mercury toxic, autoimmune condition? NADH is sensitive to stomach acid, so that's why it's taken in the am before food. It seems to be helping everything else I'm taking to work > better. It has many other functions including the stimulation of the neurotransmitters dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin. Mercury interferes with enzymes so NADH would likely be low in mercury toxic people. Adding extra NADH would push the above reactions forward. There have been some studies that showed that it helps with CFIDS/FMS I haven't tried it. I heard it was expensive. J > NJ > > >

Seems they are both re-packaginging of Enada brand, which is the patent formula, and lists 'approved' versions here (with Vitamin Shoppe link): http://www.enadh.com/available.html The Enada site also has a a clearance special now before they go to a new name/formulation. Considering how expensive most supplements are, and how much better this one actually makes me feel, to me it's a bargain. Thanks for the info, , it's hard to find on this. Andy has only one sentence about it, saying it is some derivitave of a b vitamin, but not what it is good for. It must be fulfilling some dire need in my system, because other things I've tried to boost neurotransmitters and cell energy, etc, has done very little, or made me worse. That " Mercury interferes with enzymes " may be the key. I have a lot of tests showing low immune function , high autoimmune markers, low thyroid and adrenal function, lots of things are whacked, including methylation. Maybe this NADH provides a way for all the other stuff I'm taking to actually work better. Others with these problems may want to give it a try. Third day, still doing better, that's a record! Guest guest
Based on this report, I have gone out and found some NADH-5mg locally to test it out for myself. I just took some 45 min ago. I do seem to be feeling good also, clear thinking and energetic. I have had luck with other supplements, but not for long term. I once tried DMAE. The 1st couple of days, I felt a very good sense of well being and no brain fog, but that faded out quickly in subsequent days. Maybe I should have upped the dosage, but I gave it up. I will take the NADH tomorrow morning before a meal as recommended. Let me know how your trial with NADH goes. > > > > > > > > Only two days out on this, but the best improvement I've seen yet.
