Guest guest
>>> It looks like the Dallas area will be doing another study in which the participants are not informed. As benign, or beneficial, as the procedure may be wrist-banding the population is a poor way to conduct their research. <<< The participants ARE informed using a process allowed by the Federal Code of Regulations and approved by an Institutional Review Board. The study is being moniroed by an independent ethics panel. UTSW is NOT violating any ethical principles of research established in the United States. You might not agree with the methodology, but that doesn't make it unethical. Kenny Navarro Dallas
Guest guest
>>> However, the practice of wrist-banding the segment of the population that wants to opt out of the study was the stated reason a resuscitation study was shut down in Dallas. <<< To what resuscitation study are you referring?
