Guest guest
Meg asked: “I am wondering if anyone has been to a Fibromyalgia & Fatigue Center (any chance the one in Seattle?) If so, what tests did they run?” I’ve got Chronic Fatigue syndrome and participate on another extremely active email list – the fibrom fibromyalgia list. Several folks on that list have tried the Fibro and Fatigue centers. They are extremely expensive and require all payment up front. Much of what they do is not covered by insurance. The general consensus on the fibro list is that the centers aren’t that great and really aren’t worth the money. But there is a magnificent fibro and chronic fatigue doctor in Salt Lake City (which is sort of close to Seattle): Dr. Lucinda Bateman. She’s one of the top 2-3 fms/cfs docs in the country. I see her (I fly down from Anchorage) and she is really fabulous. Superior diagnostic skills, knowledge, and intuition, very empathetic – but pragmatic also. Not smarmy. Just right. Guest guest
Hey Steph, Can you send me the link for the Fibro group? When I searched for it, a bunch of groups came up. Also, I would love to know how your Dr. Bateman is treating you. Thanks! Kesler wrote: Meg asked: “I am wondering if anyone has been to a Fibromyalgia & Fatigue Center (any chance the one in Seattle?)
