Guest guest
I had a massive amount of stress in my life from winter 2009 unitil March 2010 and I started getting palpitations and a rapid heart rate. At one stage my RHR was 125 BPM while I was just lying in bed. It started after I tried growth horomone in January, which sent my body into a hyper state. I got off the GH immediately, but i have had heart issues since. Prior to this I had been doing well on NTH for a year. My doc said I was hyper and so I reduced thyroid, but that just left me hypo with the inability to tolerate cold, weight gain and tiredness. So, I got my RT3 done and my results were: Reverse T3: 0.75 (0.14-0.54) US measurement is 490. RT3/T3 ratio: 10.85 At this time, my Free's were also WAY above range, so I took my docs instructions and decreased my NT. Things are a bit better, but my heart stil goes into the 100's when I do something simple like get up from my desk to go to the bathroom. My resting pulse is also in the 80's and early 90's; when it was happily in the 70's before this all started. Also, when I lie down, it pounds aginst my chest sometimes. I am going to a doc tomorrow and will see if she wil test electolytes. My question is could this heart thing be caused by RT3? My adrenals are supported and I can't be hypo anymore, as my NTH is now at the lowest dose I can tolerate without a return of hypo symptoms. I was on 4.5 - 5 grains and am now on 3.5 grains. Thanks! Guest guest
LOW T3 in the cells is what is causing your heart isses I am pretty sure of it and that is directly from high RT3. Yours is WAY high. Strange that GH caused this! -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/
Guest guest
I wonder if a combination of stress and the GH combined did it. If my electrolytes are low, could fixing them sort my RT3? Also, people always talk about the RT3 ratio, but is the high RT3 of 490 not bad anyway even if the ratio was okay? My issue is my doc does not believe in T3 therapy for RT3 and thinks sorting out the other issues will fix things. Could they? Lynn

Guest guest
Wel you have to realises that GH CAN reduce your cortisl by up to 50% so that may be the answer here. -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/

Guest guest
I went off GH after 1.5 weeks of using it in January, and RT3 was tested in March. Could GH still have affected RT3 even 1.5 months after stopping it?
