I'm weaning off Cortef per my doctor's orders. I was on 15mg and now down to 7.5

after 3 weeks. My temps are low normal and mostly steady at 98.4. I'm on 3

grains Erfa. I still have RT3 issue, but doctor won't do T3 only again. My

ferritin is 71 and D is 70.

I'm noticing that I am very thirsty with dry mouth a lot lately. I just got in

from the heat after walking my dog. I feel a bit shaky typing and I was very

thirsty. My BP was 107/75 and pulse 109. That was b/f I sat down.

Is the dry mouth from hypo or adrenal. Temps are steady, although once in a

while I'll get a big drop when sitting in cold air.

Also my BP never raises when I'm standing, even from just sitting for 2 minutes

or less. But even on the 15mg Cortef my BP was still like that and I had no

other adrenal issues. So I figured it was hypo issue.

What about dry mouth? Hypo? I can't raise until I'm completely off Cortef for

awhile. I'm planning on changing doctors after the wean and asking for STIMM

test.
