Guest guest
wanted me to post this for our board,,,, so here it is for anyone who might be interested..... jon ipf 5-06 Just wanted to touch base with everyone about the Orlando weekend that Ramah and (2 caregiver wives) are setting up for caregivers and patients. The weekend is March 13 to 15 and they are having hospice, oxygen supplier, pul. rehab nurse and, hopefully, doctor and attorney speak, short talk on financial matters and is, our wonderful grandson of a patient who recently died, will also talk to us and any other " children " who come. There is no charge for this weekend and we have two donors who are paying for one breakfast and one drink (at the first meeting). It is starting about 4 on Friday and will be done by noon on Sunday. Last weekend it was a great weekend and and Ramah guarantee that if you come you will go home so much richer. So, please think about it. Airlines are really having some great deals or drive and see the USA. If you need more information, please let know at kwdopher@... and she will get you the entire announcement with the schedule as it now stands. Could some of you that were in San last year post to this topic and tell people what you learned or how you felt? Thanks

Guest guest
Peggy Well, the most interesting walk I had back from Riverfront to the hotel was with Eddie, Mike and .....three very healthy strong men. But it was fine. I just turned the oxygen way up. In fact it was sort of funny because they are all three so use to caregiving and being with someone on oxygen. We had to go up steps so stopping half way and then resting at the top was just natural. Asking along the way was and resting occasionally. That would have been a wonderful time though if we'd never left the hotel lobby. Talking and hugging. > > wanted me to post this for our board,,,, so here it is for > anyone who might be interested..... jon ipf 5-06 > > Just wanted to touch base with everyone about the Orlando weekend > that Ramah and (2 caregiver wives) are setting up for > caregivers and patients. Guest guest
Bruce, thoroughly enjoyed being with everyone. I think it was so good for him to be around others in our group. He has such a tender heart for this group. It will be a good time in Orlando.
