My son was diagnosed informally @ the age of 18 months and formally using the ADOS @ age two. All it takes is a pediatritian who spends more than 30 seconds in the room with your kid to be able to tell there is something off. EEG's are not necessary for that.

I was actually amused by this... my oldest has had two EEGs so far and they turn

up 'normal'... and he is considered on the moderate side of the spectrum.

My two ASD boys also had EEG's that were 'normal'.
