Guest guest
Sources tell me that there is one medical doctor who is the medical director for 96 --count 'em--96 different ambulance services in Texas, a bunch of them operating out of the same location with different names. Another doc has a mere 74 services under his supervision. Now, I don't know of any rule or regulation that would stop a physician from being the MD for multiple services, but how effectively can one doc supervise 96 different services? So far as I know DSHS is powerless to do anything about this, and probably the Texas Medical Board is too. As if they would care. Anybody have any information on similar situations? Does anybody think there's a problem there? Gene Gandy ************** Need a job? Find employment help in your area.
