Guest guest
That would depend on how much of your own thyroid you produce. SOME T3 is better than none if you are tolerating it OK. But YES get busy wiht the iron as thta takes the LONGEST to correct. -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/

Guest guest
Actually my first 6 wks of meds, I was within ranges but was still feeling a bit off so they upped with just 3 days of a double dose. I then went over the top with FT4 so they dropped me back to just a single dose (30mg). My next blood work then showed hypo again along with heavy fatigue and terrible aches in fingers, wrists and shoulder - which is where I'm at now.. At this point I feel that since my conversion is not happening I don't want to risk having too much RT3 pooling making me feel worse. So with 30 mg. I'm hypo - with 3 days of a double dose and 4 days of reguaar 30 mg - I go over with FT4, I suppose that means I'm just not converting that T4 enough because of the low ferritin (24). So do you think I should keep taking the meds or just the iron? Thanks again,LizR> That would depend on how much of your own thyroid you produce. > SOME T3 > is better than none if you are tolerating it OK.
