Noddy is one of my favorite characters! My son and I have read the Noddy books and watched the cartoon version on television for several years! I absolutely adore little Noddy.

I don't know Enid Blyton at all. Have never heard of him. Why is he considered politcally incorrect today? Is he really banned in UK? I didn¢t' think they did things like that in UK. I read all sorts of books when I was a kid and I read constantly to my son but have never heard of Enid Blyton. Blue Flyer AZ IPF 11-08

Re: Kanga's and peanut Butta

Hi ... your mention of Enid Blyton brought back memories of my childhood!!! My dad was in the US Air Force and station in the UK from 1956-58. We went with him...I was 4 years old when we went, and went to the local British school - Steeple Bumpstead Primary School. I was a proper little English schoolboy... lol I also had the complete collection of Noddy books by Enid Blyton! My mother still has some of them. I was surprised to find that, when I went back to the UK in the 70's, her books had been banned! Looking at the books today, I can see that they were definitely not "politically correct".As I remember, Australia was actively recruiting teachers to emigrate there in the mid 70's. I graduated from University with an education degree (physical education) in 1977 and had a number of classmates who actually did go to Australia to teach! I have always wanted to get there, but haven't

made it...yet!! Who knows what the future might hold? Especially after I get my transplant!! My son did spend a wonderful two weeks in Australia and New Zealand when he was selected for the Student Ambassador program while he was in middle school. Oh, how I envied him!!!CheersSteve aka...Knip IPF Dx 9/07 confirmed via VATS 12/0757 New Hampshire> > >> > > Ahahahahah ! I read in a book that Roo's love peanut butta and> jelly. Guess not! Now you made me have to do research to find out who Noddy was.....lol

But, I did. Sort of a cute little guy with funny hair. Tessie Bear is

cute too. I like Bumpy Dog. I thought Big-Ears was Ross Perot at first.

Mr. Plod seems nice enough, although Sly and Gobbo scare me a bit. The

Skittles are cute but Miss Pink Cat is the one who really caught my eye.

Bruce,

That's funny. Noddy is on PBS Kids and you can even go to www.noddy.com and watch episodes of it. I can sing the prelude to this cartoon word-for-word, along with Kaleb, of course.

As for all of the characters of Toyland, Miss Pink Cat does have an appeal, doesn't she? lol.
