UNUSUAL LODD: PARAMEDIC KILLED IN THE LINE OF DUTY-WEATHER/STRUCTURAL

RELATED

A Paramedic was tragically killed in the Line of Duty on Friday

afternoon in Cameron

Parish, Louisiana. Strong and heavy winds came through the area

knocking the temporary

office trailer for the ambulance service at South Cameron Hospital off

of its blocks,

causing a paramedic to become trapped between the building and a

vehicle. 38-year

old Paramedic Widcamp was airlifted to a Lake hospital

where he then

died in the Line of Duty. Our sincere condolences to all affected by

this tragic

loss, especially the members of SCH EMS and the family of Paramedic

Widcamp.
