Hi Judy,

I am so glad you are doing better. I think you are right and the oxycodone is causing gastric problems. Hopefully you can wean off of them. I am curious about the clutter control people. Do they bring files and other organization stuff or do you have to have it all before they come. Also, what exactly do they do besides filing? Thanks- R. (52) Sarcoid/PF 3/2006 Carlsbad, California

Hello Everyone,I haven't been on the web site again in quite a few weeks because I have not been feeling well or have been busy. My stomach and digestive system has given me lots of problems since the first of Nov. and finally my primary doctor ordered a CT Scan on 5 Dec. & called me within 2 hours after it was done to tell me there was a mass on my pancreas and I should see a specialist. I saw the specialist on 8 Dec.and he ordered an MRI of my abdomen and an MRPC of my pancreas and told me it was possible that the CT Scan was incorrect. I thought he was just trying to keep me from worrying. But I got the MRI report yesterday and was happy and thankful that it said everything was normal and there were no masses. However, the gastro specialist is still insisting on doing an Endoscope including inserting an ultra sound instrament into my stomach to view the pancreas close up. It is scheduled

for 24 Dec. and I have to have a general anesthesia. My lung doctor approved having the general anesthesia, but said if I needed surgery I need to have it in Indianapolis so they can keep an eye on my lungs and my meds. I am praying that the Endoscope will turn out o.k. and that I won't have to have any surgery. I have started to feel a little better since I cut back from taking 6 Oxycodone per day to only 3; and I have asked my pain doctor how I can completely get off of Oxycodone as I think maybe it is what has caused my digestive problems. Thank heavens my son living next door helps me so much. He put up my 4' Christmas tree on my tv and decorated it, put up my lights outside including my 2 deer and snowman, and inside my 2 small trees (one is ceramic which was my mom's) and my nativity set on my 3' square record cabinet. I also hired my 2 Clutter Control people to come out and go through 3

of my 4 file boxes and piles of paper Mon. & Tues. afternoon & they got a lot filed, shredded or tossed away. It was expensive, but worth it to get rid of the clutter so I can finally get back to physical therapy so I can regain my strength. There is still more to be done, but I am hoping I can finish it up in Jan.Peggy - I am happy you got out of the hospital and hope you are feeling better. Also, I hope you all will have a Mele Kalikimaka and a Hou Oli Makahiki Ho.Love and Aloha,Judy Walling - South Lebanon,OH IPF 11/06 TX 8/07

Judy,

It's good to hear from you and thanks for catching us up. I'm sorry you've been feeling so lousy and I add my prayers that all is well and there is nothing on your pancreas.

I'll be thinking of you on the 24th. Please let us know how it goes.

Peaceful Christmas wishes to you!

As to Clutter Control people or as I hear them often referred to as

Personal Organizers or Assistants....most will do it however you want.

They'll go buy supplies (with your money of course) or tell you what to

get. Some aren't so good but others are great. Here, I have a company

" An Extra Pair of Hands " that will basically do anything from clean to

organize to help move to hang drapes to pet sit. You name it. Now, the

good ones are sort of like these ladies in that they are often mothers

who want to do this to earn money during school hours but be able to be

home when their kids get out. So, often they are quite skilled and have

found a good combination between work and stay-at-home. The one who owns

the company I use is the typical Soccer Mom in many ways but also quite

competent and organized. I knew one Organizer in South Florida who had

been an Executive Secretary but couldn't find a job that would allow her

the flexibility she wanted to raise her kids.
