Guest guest
Hi Dean, thanks. I think I missed something though...where are the tests being uploaded? http://www.livingnetwork.co.za/healingnetwork/hairtest.html hairtest no 79 (LJT edited the link in) Also, have not received an email from you yet. Following is my info: I live in Bothell, WA USA 1) Current symptoms and medical history; Not sure what ALL the symptoms are for mercury tox yet. My main concerns are that I am hypothyroid (at least 5 yearsm treated with Synthroid up until several months ago when I switched to Armour 2 grains) and hypoadrenal (estimated 20 yeasrs in th e making. Started HC a couple months ago, dosage between 25-35 /day). I am looking to get to the root of these metabolic problems. Many of my metabolic symptoms seem to overlap with mercury poisoning-- very cold feet, loss of circadian rhythm. Most chronic pain I was in muscle and joint wise has subsided with the switch to Armour thyroid. My cheif complaint at this time is fatigue. I cannot get going in the mornings. I have limited energy during the day to the point at which I have been unable to work. Even the smallest thing will sometimes cause adrenal symptoms, like taking a shower (I usually need a 20 minute " nap " by the time I get out of a bath or shower!)I took a year off to try to heal, then in Feb of this year I took a stressful job as a project manager of a busy ad agency and 6 weeks into the job fell apart and had to quit on the spot. By falling apart I mean, extreme weakness, especially in my legs, to the point of having trouble supporting myself, low BP 90's/50's (usually 110/70), constant nausea and stomach pain, trouble falling asleep, crying at the drop of a hat, etc. I've also been iron-deficient anemic all my life, which has improved substantially since starting Armour and having more regular periods. Iron stores 2 years ago were 6 (60-250 range) and are now up to 44. > 2) Current dental work in place and dental history; Lots of amalgams, not sure how many. Problems got worse for me once 5 amalgams were put in place Feb 2006 (really started feeling horrible around April 06). Also had one root canal one year prior to that that seemed to set off some fatigue. > 3) Supplements; medications and chelating schedule at the time of hair test; Armour thyroid 2 grains/day Hydrocortisone 25-35 mg day Vitamin C 1000 mg/day (when I remember) Iron (Chromagen) 75 mg elemental/day Taking zinc and selenium on and off. Not taking within a few weeks of testing. I think I loose a lot of zinc (and prob magnesium) b/c of chronic diarreah which the docs have just said is IBS. Take occassional magnesium when I have achey muscles, but nothing on a regular basis prior to testing. No chelating schedule yet. > 4) Recently added supplements and medications after the hair test and date > added; Trying to take magnesium 1 x day since test results came back slightly low. Nothing else being done yet. > 5) Other relevant information. " 35 year old, female. The thyroid problems run in my family, every female on my mom's side. Mom has Lupus (SLE) Dad was adopted, don't have full history. Dad suffers some form of kidney disease (dialysis not needed), has had high BP all his life and Congestive Heart Failure. I know that I have an older half sister (from my Dad) that is on disability for " depression " which I'm sure is due to something else. I have a full younger sister (6 yrs younger) that seems to have symptoms pretty much identical to mine though not to the degree of severity. Signs of hypo throid and adrenals though. Other than that, pretty healthy family. Thanks to all for your time and help. And thanks Dean! > > Hi All, > > Connie I have uploaded your hair test and send you a private email, but have > not seen you alert the list: > You are hair test 79.
