I can not remember the web sites that I read, but there are

sites that

give you helpful info about things to do before you apply for

Social

Security Disability. My only advise to you is this.....BE

PREPARED

FINANCIALLY for the wait before you receive Social Security. I

had to

quit work when I was not prepared to. My works Insurance gaveme

a

difficult time. They 1st denied me my Short Term Disability,

they said

I could work...I appealed their decision..then they said I was

TOTALLY

DISABLED...after they denied me the Long Term Disability they

said my

illness was a pre-existing condition. I went some months without

any

income...thank god I had begun to save (just not long enough). I

finally got my back pay from Short term, had to use it to pay

off all

the credit cards I maxed out....etc etc.......

I am currently broke and fear April because of the bills I will

not be

able to pay, scared and live alone with no one to help me.

PLEASE.....be prepared!!!! Social Security Can take a long

time...for

me it will be 1 yr. this April since I applied and I am still

waiting

for a hearing.

MY ADVICE .............PREPARE YOURSELF!!!! Start Today!
