Is it involuntary twitching of the muscles? I have had this, although it has happened both when I am on rounds and off. It is not happening for me recently, but I went through a period last fall when it was happening a lot. I would suggest reducing your dose, at least the ALA dose, if not both, to 25 mg and see how you do. Reducing the dose will not reduce the amount you are chelating by that much. > I'm taking a seizure med which somewhat slows me down; at present I > can't really feel all too much " progress " with the Cutler therapy, but > then it's only been 7 rounds of 50 mgs DMSA and 50 mgs ALA. I suppose this varies - not sure if there is any typical progression of improvements. --

Is this a relatively common thing? I've had that. For all muscle problems, I found more magnesium, daily Epsom baths, and lots of flax oil helped a lot. And, if the side effects are really bothering you, you can lower your dose of chelator. > > at present I > can't really feel all too much " progress " with the Cutler therapy, but > then it's only been 7 rounds of 50 mgs DMSA and 50 mgs ALA. But another year went by, my health got considerably worse, and I got serious about getting the supps right and started chelating again. It's only now, at close to 60 rounds, that I feel better during a round. And slowly there have been improvements, although it is hard to sort out thyroid/adrenal support and supps from what chelation is doing.
