The IEP has been out of compliance since April. The re-evaluation was in

progress and the ESE specialist didn't want to do an Interim to make it

compliant then an Annual IEP for the transition to middle school. So we did

apply for McKay and were denied due to the non-compliant IEP.

The Program Specialist won't sign off on Sunset. We want him to go there but she

said there is not enough 'data'. I asked for the 'data' for 3 years and will

pick it up today. Don't know how what parameters they use to see if the data

qualifies or if it is just subjective. A bit of both depending on funding issues

I'm guessing.

Since there are no EB cluster schools in Broward, we may have to settle for a VE

cluster. Does anyone know how that decision will affect the matrix? This is

sooooo not fair to my son.
