Guest guest
We ate out at King's yesterday after the ER visit and before our trip into Mall-Mart (didn't do a bit of good to have a full stomach when getting into their grocery section!) I had some sort of western omelet crepe, cheesy hash browns and a cup of their oooooo so yummy Broccoli Cheese Soup (should have stuck with just the soup though).. Not sure just which of those items, or it could have been the hot coffee, but something set off the mouth pain again (I tried to order only things I would not have to chew, at least not strenuously)... We stopped at Lowe's before heading for Wal-Mart. Wanted to check out those solar powered walkway lights, and one that resembles a flood light, on a smaller scale. Had been trying to think of something different to do for Bud's grave for Memorial Day this year, then suggested these yard lamps for either side of the headstone & then one or two of those solar powered flood lights to shine directly on the headstone.. I immediately fell in love with that idea -- Bud wasn't much for flowers, but he was for the unusual.. at 33 had an extremely LARGE collection of Star Wars memorabilia, including life size "Yoda" character! We also came out of Lowe's with two purple Azalea plants & a red/purple fuchsia [wasn't going to pick up the fuchsia this trip.. but half way out of lawn & garden decided that I'd better break down & spend the money on it NOW because when I came back for one in a couple of weeks.. there wouldn't be a single one to be had -- besides, needed an extra step or two added to his already more than extensive exercise plan for the day -- the trip back to the car, pushing me in a wheelchair was ALL uphill!] All in all, other than my mouth pain.. and getting way way way more in a "work out" than he wanted.. it was a wonderful & productive day... AND the topper was nobody had to cook! HUGS |)onna -- What's for dinner?   Yesterday I cooked a pot of pinto beans. Then I made Sonoran Enchiladas for dinner with refried beans on the side. My son made the enchilada sauce. It was a wonderful meatless meal for Good Friday. This morning my son was working on the generator so I cooked breakfast. I cooked potatoes, bacon, rye toast and eggs. It was nice to have a big breakfast since our company kids only wanted cold cereal. What's for dinner at your house? hugs  Sharon This email is a natural hand made product.
