If you follow TKs suggestions (in the files section), start with very low doses. You can always stop if you have problems and finish the round with DMSA alone. > It seems like my 'honeymoon' (I've seen others describe the periode > past amalgam removal by this...) is over. Guest guest
Hi! Have done some more rounds of DMSA only since I posted this message. Last two rounds were 25 mg of DMSA. Have had some problems raising the dosage (started at 12.5 mg) due to yeast, but it seems that this situation has gotten better after I started taking Aloe Vera juice (morning and evening). But, my rounds have only lasted for 3 days with 4 days off (friday morning to monday morning). Should I extend my rounds before I add ALA ? - Kyrre > > > > I have read the general recommendations about this. 'My' mercury was > > shown by a porphyrin test. Guest guest
I have done a total of 11 rounds so far. First 3 rounds with 12.5, then 1 round with (approx.) 16.7 mg (which gave me more yeast/stomach trouble), then back to 12.5 mg for 3 rounds, then 16.7 mg again, and then one round with 20 mg and 2 rounds with 25 mg. 25 mg has not given me more or stronger symptoms than 12.5 mg. That said, I'm not really sure of my situation and prograss right now. During the summer I seem to have some of my energy come back (we'll have to see if this lasts...), but my muscles and joints ache. Spent two weeks in Greece in July (where the weather is a bit warmer than here in Norway..) and I didn't have these problems. As I'm sure you can understand I want to start ALA asap, but not too soon. As mentioned my mercury was shown bt porphyrin test. I have recently had my adrenals tested. Cortisol was 'normal', but ACTH was higher than 'normal' (I don't have the numbers...). Tests were done in the morning, and due to the 'high' ACTH I have also done a saliva test in the evening, but havn't gotten the results from that one yet. I have not had my AA tested. Is there some amino acids I could try prior to testing just to see ? > > > > Hi! > > > > Have done some more rounds of DMSA only since I posted this message. > > Last two rounds were 25 mg of DMSA. Guest guest
What you could do is try a round of 25 mg DMSA and 12.5 mg ALA and see how it goes. The timing of doses would have to be 3 h during the day, 4 h at night. If side effects are extreme stop the ALA and continue with DMSA. I'm not sure about the amino acids tests. Andy mentions plasma amino acids on page 92 of Amalgam Illness. > > > > > > Hi! > > > > > > Have done some more rounds of DMSA only since I posted this > message. > > > Last two rounds were 25 mg of DMSA.
