Guest guest
Ok class, our new vocabulary word for the day is Thrombocytopenia, which means low platelets To use it in a sentence, " Steve has Thrombocytopenia " . Kidding aside, I've had this for over a year now. A year is kind of misleading as the platelets have always been low since diagnosis, but have s l o w l y decreased. I've had the non-hodgkins lymphoma for 2.5 years. I did calcium EDTA IV chelation last year (30 treatments), then found Andy's book. I've been doing DMSA for 6 months and just started ALA + DMSA per Andy's protocol. I've had no traditional treatment for the cancer (ie chemo, etc). Question: In reading Andy's book, I came across a blurb in the appendix that DMSA can, in some rare cases cause bone marrow suppression. My question is: For the group (or anyone who'd be kind enough to reply): Has anyone on the DMSA protocol ever been diagnosed with low platelets ? I realize that most people on this group probably dont get CBC blood tests often, but thought I'd ask anyway. For the " experts " : Has Calcium EDTA chelation ever been tied to bone marrow suppression ? It's tough to tell what's causing the bone marrow suppression. Is it progression of this cancer into the bone marrow, or might the DMSA be involved with suppressing the bone marrow. Thanks in advance for your reply(s).
