I don't know what you mean about " acidosis induced from chelators. "

One possible contributor to increased joint problems is poor support

of adrenal/thyroid function.

Hi Joanne, I saw your post and had to comment, too. I have TMJ (arthritic pain

in my jaw

joints) and arthritis in my lower back (sacrilio-arthritis). I have only done 1

round for the

first time since having my amalgams removed, and experienced more inflammation

in

these areas after the round.

I also believe omegas & minerals help a lot w/ inflammation. Last week I decided

to try one

of my kids' supplements for inflamm. I noticed a marked improvement. It contains

Curcumin,Quercetin,Bromelain, and Boswellia Serrata. I'm wondering if you or

anyone else

here have tried Curcumin and noticed a difference?

, it's funny you asked about curcumin. I just ordered it

myself. I like turmeric as a spice and cook with it on occasion, and

have had it in combined supplements in the past. I think of it as a

liver support, but supporting the liver in turn supports the rest of

the body. Let's see what's going on after a few weeks.

I have experienced joint pains and discoloration at the joints from

time to time during chelation with DMSA. My doctor tells me that I am

detoxing from the joint and/or connective tissue. The discoloration

goes away within two days of appearing. I was told that when

chelating lead, the worst pain in the joints is from re-mineralization

of the bone after the lead is kicked out.

I also had pain in my joints from taking calcium. It started a few

days after calcium was added to my supplements. I suffered for a week

before it occurred to me to try stopping the calcium. My doctor also

thought of the connection about the same time. The pains were

relieved within 24 hours of stopping calcium.
