Guest guest Posted February 21, 2008 Report Share Posted February 21, 2008 I was wondering if anyone's pain goes away for more than a month and then returns? This seems to be the case with me. I was happy because I recently started seeing a homeopath and have been feeling alot better. This happened to me before this past summer my pain went away for about 2 months and I was giving credit to the prednisone that I had taken for 9 days, but now I am beginning to wonder if this is just a pattern. I went off the elavil at the end of november and was symptom free until just last week when I started getting weird jabs, pains and twinges in my vagina. After straining, I feel like the inside of my rectum is throbbing. I am currrently back on elavil at a low dose, I suppose I should give it some time, but am very disappointed because I was hoping once again the pain would leave completely. I should have known better because the urinary burning was still there. I am debating on whether or not to take a half ativan tonite just to see if it helps as it did before, but I hate getting back on these meds. Anyway, I was wondering if anyones pain has a similar pattern where it might leave for 2 months to return again? Fortunately the pain is not as bad as last year, what hell that was- but it is still annoying and depressing. thanks for your responses CDelicious ideas to please the pickiest eaters.
