Guest guest
Wow! That brought tears to my eyes, and also lots of memories. I grew up in Kew Gardens Hills and we had a great Rabbi, Roabbi Kirschbloom. At some point he hired "a young rabbi", Charlie Klein. Rabbi Klein always encouraged parents to let their babies cry in temple, and let them run around the temple. He was progressive that way. He felt that children should know from an early age that the temple is not only G-d's house, but ours as well. If anyone of you out there has a young child try it, it won't be as bad as you think. If it is try going to another temple or church. And speaking of inclusion...I am looking for a program where my 20 year old son can shadow or be mentored by a CPA this summer. Does anyone know of anyone would have such a program. My son is studying accounting and it would be a great summer idea for him. Thanks and happy Purim!
