Guest guest
My temps rose in the middle of March (in my 11th week of T3 only) and have kept high since then (with minor ups and downs). I think they are pretty good and stable now (basals about 36.7(98) pre-ovulation, and 36.9 (98,4) post-ovulation). Pulse is around 90, but sometimes I get palps and the pulse feels at times hard and slightly irregular. Besides Cynomel, I am taking 1200 Potassium, sea salt and 27.5 cortisol. Although I notice some improvements (I am less tired and breath better) I do not feel too well yet, particularly I am very depressed and have pretty severe OCD which doesn't remit. Also my eyes are very dry, and that puzzles me, because this is meant to be a clear hypo symptom and it doesn't seem to be improving. My sight is also bad, I have an ever growing myopia and often blurry vision. I am trying to adjust T3 dose (I seem to be going back and forth from 37.5 and 50) but I feel rather clueless as to how to read my body. Temps and pulse don't seem to be much affected by this change of dose. These were my latest labs (a few days ago) at 37.5 T3 (12/13 hours after last T3 dose); 27.5 HC: TSH: less than 0.01 uU/ml (0.3-4.5) Total T4: 2.28 ug/dl (4.5-12.0) Free T4: 0.29 ng/dl (0.71-1.9) Total T3: 2.68 ng/ml (0.8-2.0) Free T3 : 3.88 pmol/L (2.63-5.7) Based mostly on these results (and also because I though I was still having some hypo symptoms) I went two days ago from 37.5 to 50, but I don't feel particularly better, dry eyes, etc. remain, and I feel more restless and my body aches all over. Recently, per Val advice, I have been gradually reducing cortisol and I think this was good. Any suggestion about how to adjust meds and how to continue improving will be most welcomed!
