Guest guest
Dear Listmates: ASL Pediatric Therapy Services, is proud to announce it's new relationship with Dr. ine Buck, a Developmental & Behavioral Doctor of Optometry. Dr Buck specializes in helping children with learning disabilities, speech/ language delays, and all children on the spectrum. She will be available to evaluate children, and provide vision therapy weekly. ASL knows that many special needs children also have undiagnosed vision problems. By addressing these issues properly, many children become more cooperative. They become more productive in all areas of their home life, their education, and in their specialized therapies. Does your child have difficulty completing assignments, and homework seems to take forever ? Does he or she avoid sports or games? Does your child have poor handwriting? Is he or she clumsy, and is always knocking things over? Does your child tilt their head or close one eye when trying to read? Is he or she not able to judge distance accurately? These are just a few of the many possible signs and symptoms of a developmental vision problem. ASL knows there are many visual skills required for development that are not typically tested in a routine eye exam. A Developmental Vision Evaluation with Dr. Buck takes over where a general eye exam leaves off. Dr. Buck tests for problems with eye movement, eye coordination and other subtle problems that can interfere with reading, learning, and daily life. If a problem is found, Dr. Buck may recommend special therapeutic glasses/ lenses, patching, or vision therapy. If you are looking for intensive therapy programs that are multi-disciplinary and collabortive, and that can make a positive change in your child's well-being, please call our office today at: to discuss how ASL can be a part of your child's positive future. ASL Pediatric Therapy Services : is located in Weston, just off Weston Rd. & I-75 It's amazing what the right combination of therapies can do to change a child's future!!!!! Bring your child in and lets make a change in their life!!!!
