Guest guest
Hello all My hair tests are posted as nos. 58 a and b here: http://www.livingnetwork.co.za/healingnetwork/hairtest.html My medical problems are serious adrenal fatigue, chronic pain, hypothyroidism (with low TSH and increased antibodies), and MS. 58a was sampled about 6 months after amalgam removal. I count it as meeting two counting rules because I had been supplementing lithium at the time (dropped it soon after the test). The Ca, Mg high, Na, K low most definitely fits with my symptoms - very poor adrenal funtion and thyroid problems. 58 b was sampled about a year and 4 months after I started chelation with DMPS. Initially I chelated with 18 mg DMPS every 8 h for rounds that were 3 weeks long. What I discovered was that the pain in my lower legs got better while I was chelating and then worsened substantially every time I stopped a round. I repeated the rounds several times and every time the pain worsened at the end of rounds. This pain was limiting my ability stand, walk around, and to do things. I decided to chelate continuously. From Jan 2006 to Dec 2006 I chelated continuously with DMPS. I found that I felt better taking doses every 6 h. I tried several times to increase the dose to 25 mg. Each time fatigue became overwhelming and I dropped the dose back to 18 mg. About Nov I was able to take 25 mg without the fatigue. I stopped in Dec because of what I thought was a flu. Then I got a nasty respiratory virus that knocked me flat for most of Jan. The pain in my lower legs completely resolved during that year of chelation. (I still have generalized muscle and joint aches and pains that aren't as difficult to cope with). I just started chelating again in Feb. Again, I noticed a huge improvement in how I feel when I started to take the DMPS. I feel so much better while I am chelating. ******* The thing that I wanted to show you on this most recent hair test is that it doesn't meet the counting rules anymore!!!!!!! That means that my year of chelation has made my mineral transport more orderly and hopefully that will help me to heal even better!!!! The pattern is still 'all low' and I am thinking about what I can do to address that. The adrenal and thyroid indications are not as pronounced on the second test. I think that is because of medication increases. The other thing that I wanted to report is that I am functioning way, way better than I was before. The roller coaster ride year after amalgam removal was horrific for me. Now I am functional for most of the day, almost like a normal person. Part of the increased function is because I have increased doses of some hormones and added some medications. J
