Sorry to be a pest but I think my doctor knows less about this than I

do. I see him in the AM.

This is the first test along this line that I have had, no previous

diagnosis. I understand about the always thing, but the basic question

is whether it is Hashi or not. And if this test rules out Hashi would

that mean in the future I won't have to consider Hashi?

It is confusing to me that the range starts at 2 if if at less than 2

is good.

Betty

Once you have had Hash9's you ALWAYS have it. It can be supressed

for

years but it can also resurface any time.

Thyroglobulin Panel

Thyroglobulin L 0.6 reference range 2.0-35.0

Well yu have SOME antibodies thoug it is too lwo to indicatye an active

autoimminue attack they are there so YES you will have to watch them in

the future, btu it si negative for now. I have to say about 95% of all

hypothyroid peolle Do have Hashi's butthey can test negative for many

years before antibodies show up wo which a positive antibpody test

always means Hashi's is present, a negative doe sNOT rule it out.

Betty,

It's hard when you know more than your doctor. I'm in the same boat too. I

will be praying for your appointment in the morning.

Get better!
