Happy New School Year.....

As we come to the end of the second week of school... can't believe it's been two weeks already .... I hope that everyone is off to a great start!

I wanted to share the recent edition of The Autism Notebook with everyone. For those of you whose children attend Broward schools that have autism cluster programs, you should have received it from your school. For those of you who don't, but would like your school to get them, please email our publisher, Lori Ortiz, at lori@... We are in the process of trying to get them to the middle and high schools.

There is an article that includes information about an awesome reading comprehension program for kids with ASD, Visualization and Verbalization, in this edition. There's also one on the standards for our middle and high school SVE classrooms. This should give you some insight on what the programs should look like when you evaluate your own.
