I try to divide it into two doses, as I've read the body can only absorb so much iron at one time. So two separate doses may yield better absorption. Taking Vitamin C at the same time as the iron will also enhance absorption. I was on Hema-Plex iron for a while, it worked very well, and since it has 85 mg elemental per pill, I needed only 2-3 pills a day.
