Research Participants Needed This research deals with a training for persons diagnosed with autism or other developmental disabilities who exhibit immediate echolalia (i.e., the immediate repetition of words just spoken by others). Potential participants (2 – 3) must be at least 4- year of age (including adults). Upon completion of all training sessions, participants may be able to spontaneously utter the trained words to express their wants and needs (e.g., asking for water, requesting a break from an activity or a desired item such as an opportunity to play with a toy). At the end of all training sessions, each participant will receive a $ 150 Walmart gift certificate.
