Can't really tell from that article, can we, especially since it is not a news

article but instead is a press release that appears to have been placed by

Ventura EMS. With only one station, it's hard to imagine that Ventura could

beat Ft. Bend County's response time to most parts of the county.

Let me set the record straight. That release is just a bunch of propaganda

about Fort Bend County.

Fort Bend County EMS is not a private service. It is run by the County of

Fort Bend and provides Emergency service to all of Fort Bend County.

They run ten 24 hour ALS / MICU trucks, and two paramedic squad units. I

work for one of the NUMEROUS private services in Fort Bend County.

Ventura EMS has a LOT of competition.
