Guest guest Posted July 18, 2009 Report Share Posted July 18, 2009 I have been on the SCDiet for almost 3 weeks now & I just feel like I'm doing something wrong or I'm missing something. I am commite4d to this diet as it is truely my only option and it is so depressing to feel worse on it than I did off of it, despite all of my energy being put into it. I know this is nothing new here, I just need to vent a bit! I am soooo hungry all of the time & my bm's are softer/loser now than they were when I followed SAD. I worry about urgeny & not being able to make it to the bathroom in time. The good news is: I posted last week about gas pains (Asacol vs Lialda) & fortunately that issue has improved, may be because I did switch meds.More good news is I do feel better despite starving and loser bm's. I have been able to turn onto my sides in bed at night something which I haven't been able to do it years because it always made me run to the bathroom. My mood has improved, I sleep better and I am having less bm's. IMO the diet is working but boy is it giving me a tough time at the start here. I am currently eating limited foods-chicken broth w/ boiled chicken, 1-2 small pieces of well-cooked carrots a day, Welch's 100% grape juice, 1-2 eggs every other day, about 1 oz of brick cheese (Colby or Jack), Dole 100% Pinapple juice made into pops-may be I'll have 1 a day and bananas. I already cut out most dairy (yougurt, DCC) & beef patties so I am so scared that I have to cut more things out but I have a feeling the bananas are an issue. What do you think? Also, is there a food that I am NOT eatting that might help fill me up but is not aggrevating to most? Thanks, Peggy H.
