This group, along with your friends at your church will help you learn more.Im Cassi, and was dx with CD in late Jan, early Feb this year. Looking back, I have probably been celiac since my son was born, but for sure since my daughter was. (both are adults, son 28 and daughter 23) I am fortunate that my husband and myself purchased a home in Finland last November, (moved here end of March) and being Celiac here is very easy. There are so many of us diagnosed (appx 1-100) that it is a law foodstuffs must be labeled clearly GF, GF but not processed on dedicated facilities/lines, GF/LF, GF/LF/CF etc... Most large restauants have dedicated GF/LF kitchens and a wonderful menu assortment. You have a good start with Betty's book, another good one is Carol Finestra. Also, I found the recipe file here INDESPENSABLE when I still lived in the US!Ask questions, and everyone here will do their best to help you along the way!Best!CassiGluten free in downtown Imatra!
