Guest guest
I always use fresh basil and have never had any strings so I don't know what could be causing it. I'm sure you could add an onion during the boiling phase. You could even get some cheesecloth, wrap the onion in it and tie it up so it would be really easy to remove at the end. This ould also work well for your chicken soup so you didn't have to pick out all the celery and onions. Why didn't I think of this 18 months ago... UGH? LOLOr 18 HOURS ago?? lol Ugh the chix soup onion got super soggy and I have no idea how in the world I'm gonna get it out!!! I may just have to eat it =( =)Good luck to you Alyssa. I've had so many startovers there's no way I could count them.Congrats on no meds, but if you need them take them. My problem with CD with C not D, tons of inflammation (from the stomach to the rectum), and mucus so I think that's why the meds weren't really working for me and I've been able to stay off them with very little difficulty. I still have C pretty bad for 3 weeks out of the month. Funny, the week after my cycle ends, I'm regular. You want to get better and you might need the meds to mask the symptoms while the diet heals your guts!!! :)Oh, that's very different from my UC issues. I don't really have C or M, but definitely B and D =) My doc has perscribed LDN once for chronic fatigue, but since I'm going out of town for a week she doesn't want to put me on it yet. We're probably going to do a short burst of pred while I'm away, then wean off and maybe try LDN. Thanks Misty for the tips! =D Pour Dieu, pour terre,Alyssa 15UC April 2008, diagnosed Sept 2008SCD June 2009 (restarted)No meds!!!
