Guest guest
jodi, honey-maybe a tablespoon or so in my tea twice a day. but i also treat my bloodsugar lows with honey now instead of my glucose table (has illegals in them). fortunately, my blood sugars have been pretty stable and i haven't had too many low episodes since doing SCD. I was afraid of that with the mustard. i really miss sauce, and just hated eating things plain. but that is the most likely culprit it sounds like... thanks again! tanya Dx: celiac, non-specific colitis, type 1 insulin-dependent diabetes chronic D since 3/2002 > > Hey , > > Pull the mustard. > > How much honey are you using? > > Jodi >

Guest guest
.. So first try pulling the mustard.. Maybe Marilyn can help you think of a yummy sauce in the next couple of days. Have you tried Zucchini's with Ghee and sea salt? It's super yummy and satiating. About the honey- maybe you can reduce using a tablespoon at a time and use a bit less? That's quite a punch but I do understand you are using it medicianlly. Just pay attention as a punch of honey can cause D in me. Not everyone though so I am just suggesting. Give it a few days and methodically intro new stuff- it will take time but hey- you may be one of those people that sail through it. Hang in there! This kind of thing never effected me at all. As long as it is legal. why don't you test it - pull it for a few days and then try it again and see if you can find a noticeable effect or not. I think it is going to take some time to get over falling off the wagon - but I can't imagine that cooked zucchini is going to be a problem for you - since i wasn't before you fell off. Guest guest
I'm beginning to think I have low blood sugar. Whenever I go out to do a little grocery shopping (usually in the afternoon), I start feeling sort of ugly. The other day, I took a little can of pineapple juice with me. I sipped on it between stores, and felt fine. Today, I just took tea, and yep, felt ugly after I'd been out just a short while.
