Did you ask for and get copies of the lab report on the cultures for yeast? I'm not saying you in particular, but MANY women who suffer from this disorder get into further trouble by believing they have yeast infections (when they don't) and overusing antifungals. The antifungals then burn the skin and cause allergic reactions or dry out the mucous membranes in the vagina and vulva.My advice is never use an antifungal without culture confirmation of yeast with a request made to the doc to have the a sensitivities test run on the yeast the lab grows to see what medication will effectively kill it. If you do have bonafide yeast infections, you could be tearing up your skin and not killing the yeast by using what may be the wrong yeast medications. Not all medications kill all strains of yeast.... and you need to know specifically (by sensitivity testing of your culture) what med will work for you.The

discharge you speak of sort of sounds like what I experience when I used progesterones daily as part of my hormonal regimen. Are you on birth control pills which are heavy on progesterones and light on estrogens? If so, and if this discharge is irritating your skin, you probably need to rethink using birth control pills, or switching to ones which have more estrogen. As with any other drug, birth control pills can have a negative effect on some women.The longer you remain in pain from this, the harder it is to get the pain under conrtrol as the nerves in the area quickly learn to misfire with the slightest provocation. Get the pain under control as fast as you can and stay on track searching for the cause of the pain. Blood work for all std's is an excellent place to start - next maybe a vulvar biopsy (not that awful, I've had one), Blood testing for hormonal imbalances, including thyroid problems is a good idea
