Guest guest
The onset of my symptoms began last year with severe dry eye, This led to an inflamation known as blepharitis. It cause my lash line to plug up and and blister over. My eye doctor couldn't tell me what causes blepharitis...but suggested " poor hygeine " . So, after scrubbing my eyelashes with baby shampoo 3x a day with no improvement, I added it to my list of unexplainable symptoms until I read on many mercury sites months later about how mercury dries everything up. My eyes would tear up on occasion also. It wasn't until reading Andy's book that I'd heard anything on what that was from, and he mentioned arsenic. Last night I found a very interesting chronicle of a German chemist's experience with chronic mercury poisoning due to long-term occupational inhalation exposure. (Extremely interesting ... his chronicle of symptoms was remarkably similar to mine, and he went on to add a note about his concerns with what he believes is the greatest 'sin against humanity' by using amalgam fillings in people's teeth.) Anyway, he mentioned the salivation problem and connected it with mercury, adding that there is always mercury in the saliva. I then searched and found other references to this as a mercury symptom. Has anyone else had this annoying problem? Has chelation improved it? How long did it take??? Is dry eye, with excessive tearing, common and related? This is another thing I've had for years, using drops on a regular basis and occasionally battling related eye infections. Joanne --------------------------------- Be a PS3 game guru. Guest guest
Joanne, do you take any supplements? I never had much of an issue with excess saliva (though i've had various bouts with dry eyes). After awhile on the chelation therapy, and tweaking various supplements, i started salivating so much, i was worried that the government would think i had rabies and thus quarantine me! I started lowering certain supplements that seemed like possibilities (ones that affect the nervous system for instance), and was able to do away with this troublesome frothing at the mouth i was experiencing. so, if you are taking supplements, would you mind posting them? dave
