Guest guest
" so I was wondering if anyone can tell me what they use or recommend for an HG toxic person...Whey, Rice, Soy... etc... " If you can tolerate whey, I would go with that. It helps increase glutathione levels. I can't tolerate any dairy, so my ND has me use rice protein. She recommends the NutriBiotic rice protein: http://www.nutribiotic.com/riceprotein.htm I wouldn't recommend soy to anyone... -Olif
Guest guest
I use rice powder bought at www.vitacost.com. I prefer Jarrow. And for another site with excellent prices - I recommend www.bulkfoods.com for extraordinary bulk prices on calcium and magnesium citrate, ascorbic acid, inositol, lecithin granules (which I always include in shakes, smoothies, etc)...pices are by the ounce or POUND! Guest guest
I use rice, flax, and hemp protein powders. Whey didn't agree with me when I couldn't tolerate sulfur foods and still doesn't agree with me now that I can tolerate sulfur foods and my plasma cysteine was tested to be low. I've used rice and hemp protein powders and tolerate them well. I would avoid soy. --
Guest guest
I just ordered Kirkman Labs Amino Support caps because they're hypoallergenic: no " sugar, starch, soy, acacia, wheat, milk, yeast, casein, gliadin, gluten, or artificial colorings " . I'm sensitive to all the usual culprits, and never have had problems with this company's products in five years. Kirkman was recommended to me by a great doctor who wasn't selling their items. I have rice protein powder, but it's gritty & very difficult to choke down. Since I don't digest dairy, soy or seeds/nuts properly, it's nice to have an alternative to a lot of meat and for those times when I don't have an appetite. I'm trying to cut tuna & salmon while chelating, too, so protein choices become too limited. I know it is important to stay away from hydrogenated oils...so Thanks, Nahla --------------------------------- Get your own web address. Have a HUGE year through Yahoo! Small Business.
