This may have been mentioned already, but a ferritin of 50 is too low for good

thyroid utilization and will hinder both your increases and progress.

For raising ferritin, I will quote Val:

" for Iron Blue Bonnet Bisglycinate seems to be the best tolerated with 150-200mg

a day needed to raise ferritin levels. "

From her post

Here's a link to the bluebonnet iron:

Hope this helps.

> Hi Val or Nick. I was just reading some of the recent posts about how long it

takes for Rt3 to clear. I am currently on SRt3 spread out across three doses at

40, 20, 20. I increased to 40, 40 ,20 yesterday but today am extremely tired.

My last ferritin was 50. On some of the recent posts you say that it takes 3

months for Rt3 to clear. Is this three months from starting T3 even at a low

dose or from getting the T3 to your optimum dose? I am worried that if I am

unable to tolerate an increase will it take longer for my T3 to clear or is the

dose that i am taking doing some good? I have been taking Srt3 for five weeks.
