Guest guest
I finally got my colonoscopy results from last month back. Although my colon looked normal, the biopsies showed inflammation. That was a bit of a downer, but since I've only been SCD for 6 months, I suppose it's to be expected.Aww, I'm so sorry! That is a bit of a downer. It seems encouraging though that your colon looked normal, becuase it means that you are still making progress, right? Plus, it can't be that much inflammation if it only showed on the biopsy. You could've just been having a bad day/week as well. The fact that it was a colonoscopy probably stressed you a bit, so it might've been a little IBS. You never know exactly what's going on in your body =)I also found out that my stricture at the ileocal valve is 7-8 mm in diameter. My GI wants to see next month to discuss it. Surgery, the thing I fear most, seems to be looming. I'm a sad panda :-(.Aww again =( I guess with something like this you just have to not think about it too much and hope that whatever happens, it happens for a reason and everything will turn out all right in the end. I'll be praying for you! Pour Dieu, pour terre,Alyssa =D
