Guest guest
Emma, if you are gluten intolerant you are probably milk product intolerant as well. This means that proteins in the foods are toxic (poison) to you and your body is forming antibodies that are destroying your tissues and organs--that includes the bladder and reproductive tract and everything else, wherever it chooses to land. Gluten and candida cross react to each other. You must totally stop eating anything that has these two foods in it. You must manage to be tested at the only lab in the country that can really diagnose these accurately (Milk and gluten sensitivity). You will likely have to pay for it yourself unless your insurance is great and your doc refers you to them. You will waste your time with the blood tests. Gluten Sensitivity also causes ovarian shutdown--which causes not enough estrogen and other hormones to be produced. This is serious. It will eventually kill you one way or another if that is your problem and you don't follow the diet. Here is the lab with the new state of the art tests. http://www.enterolab.com I hope this helps. Arline New to the list and Dr. Peacocke Hello, I am new to this list, and have spent a few hours reading old posts. I live in the NYC area, and just started seeing Dr. Peacocke. Like I have seen posted here so many times, she suspects gluten-intolerance and vitamin D deficentcy, and too low estrogen from being on ortho tricyclen Lo. Just curious, has anyone on this list had a positive experience seeing Dr. Peacocke, or am I wasting time and money? This is so frustrating. For the last 4 months, my life has been hell. Started with what I thought was a yeast or bacterial infection, which I treated with Clindesse and Diflucan. It seemed to go away only to come back 3 weeks later. This time, only Diflucan. Sort of went away but came back 3 weeks later, and now the burning, blotchy redness, swelling, tiny bumps, horrible pain and impossible intercourse is constant. This is also accompanied by urinary problems that feel very much like a UTI, but is not. Like spasams in my uretha, but no doctor seems to know why. Does this thing ever just go away on its own? Like so many of us on here, this has impacted every aspect of my life, so much so tha tI started going to a therapist. Any thoughts are appreciated.
